Problem: Our CMS isn’t very user friendly and is often incomprehensible to the average user.
Solution: As an admin and power user of the system I took the initiative to learn how to “bend the system” to the needs of the business. This included writing new XML to add functionality to the admin part of the system.
Outcome: Tasks that would have taken days if manually achieved now take minutes. I was awarded an internal prize for helping colleagues be more productive and going “above and beyond”.
